Stage 3 is the fourth stage in The True Backrooms. It was supposed to be the ending of the game before the Renovations. It was added on March 10th, 2020.
it’s also one of the first original stages that Kord created in the True Backrooms, since the other main ones (0, 1 and 2) were based on old backrooms images, about 3 Backrooms levels (image that was supposedly made on DeviantArt).
Description
Stage 3 also seems to be similar to Stage 2 but this time there are less pipes which are only present at the beginning hallway. With some other stuff such as wires and less claustrophobic hallways. There is a timer of 15 minutes that counts down, It replaces the stopwatch that measures how long it takes for the player to complete the stage. The entrance room consists of a hallway that leads down to a flight of stairs, And that leads to a door that illuminates green. The player also has a flashlight in their hand in this stage. The exit in this stage is locked by two generators, all the generators must be turned on so the exit can be unlocked.
Generators
There are a total of two generators that are in this level that will unlock the fire exit. However both generators must be turned on to unlock the fire exit. Just simply interact with the plug on to the generator then attach it to the outlet and then turn on the generator. Once this is done with both of the generators, the fire exit will now be accessible and you can walk through the exit to teleport to A Cosy, Warm Place.
Secrets
Graffiti Room
When you go the opposite way of generator 1, you will find an empty room with a singular drawing graffiti. Strange sounds can also be heard when inside of this room. The only thing in this room is the graffiti and no other secrets can be found in here.
Reset Glitch
Resetting removes your flashlight and restarts the timer, this can be useful if you're running short on time and can navigate without the light. The hallways are also slightly dim( if you adjust your brightness) so you can easily navigate through the hallways without the need of a flashlight.
Developer Console
Directly upon joining the stage, it reads:
Look how long it's been. How many days, weeks, even months have passed. Yet you're still here. What do you still want from me? I've given you all I can. I've warned you that this is what would happen. You didn't listen. Now you must face the consequences.
Entrances
Stage 2
Finding the way to the fire exit in Stage 2 will teleport the player to the next stage.
The Waiting Place
You can enter Stage 3 by Going through the "+1" door and heading down the stairs, one can teleport to Stage 3 in The Waiting Place.
It's Too Much
After going through the pillars or taking the alternative route, there will be a short hallway and there will be another hallway on your right, this will lead you to the fire exit, touching the door will teleport you to Stage 3.
PUNISHMENT_STAGE - FEVER
Exiting PUNISHMENT_STAGE - FEVER through the fire exit or meeting Friend will teleport you to Stage 3.
PUNISHMENT_STAGE - CATACOMBS
Exiting PUNISHMENT_STAGE - CATACOMBS will teleport the player to Stage 3.
Last Thoughts
Wait for the flashback to finish. Once done, climb up the washing machines and squeeze through the gap. Then, touch the fire exit door in Last Thoughts to be teleported to Stage 3.
Exits
Finish Zone
Turn on both of the generators and navigate to the fire exit within fifteen minutes. This is the "Good Ending" of The True backrooms.
Bad Ending
Let the timer go down to 00:00.
Fever Dream Ending
Noclip though a certain wall with red text, and touch the bright door. This requires both Sophisticated Emptiness and Suitably Lucid.
Finale
Inputting the code heard[1] in the Numbers Station room (which can only be heard when you got the golden ace badge) of Stage 2 on the Keypad in Stage 3[2] will unlock the door and you will be able to access finale.
Delay
Input a code[3] on a keypad near the spawn area. The light will change and glow a dim purple, and the Hatman will appear for a split second when walking out of the hallway. Go behind the spawn door and take the hallway to the Stage 0 security office then go to the fire exit to enter Delay.

Trivia
- Early on, Kord_K planned to allow the player to swing the flashlight as a weapon, but there wouldn't have been any use for it and he felt like it didn't fit, so it was never added.
